Mysterious 5 is a popular YouTube channel with over 150,000 subscribers. They specialise in creating videos that focus on specific, mysterious subjects – such as the top five UFO sightings, the five most mysterious historical weapons and the five most unusual items found inside storage units. The first video that I was asked to work on was a rundown of the top five national park disappearances.

The Work: 

After an initial test script – which I accepted on the promise that if Mr. Mysterious didn’t like it, they wouldn’t have to pay me – I was taken on as a regular writer for the Mysterious 5 YouTube channel. The varied assignments usually take the form of a 1400 word script on a specific subject, but I’ve also worked on live streams and other special episodes. It’s early days at the time of writing, but it’s been one of the more interesting projects that I’ve had the pleasure of working on.
